Here are some handy utilities you can download free! They are available through one of our favorite sites – www.majorgeeks.com!
Adobe Flash Uninstaller. When you can’t install an updated Flash due to Flash going south on you – this simple to use utility will do the job. Just download and run it – then reboot and update your flash. Removes all versions of Adobe Flash Player from all browsers on your computer.
The Norton Removal Tool. When a removal of Norton goes bad, this utility wipes out the remnants that might be causing issues – like denied Internet access.
The McAfee Consumer Product Removal Tool. When a removal of McAfee goes bad, this utility wipes out the remnants that might be causing issues – like denied Internet access.
The Microsoft Windows Installer Clean-up Utility. When a program gives you that annoying popup every time you launch it asking for the installation disk over and over and over it’s usually due to a Microsoft installer database malfunction. This utility will help you remove the offending program quickly – but then you’ll have to reinstall it. It’s slightly dangerous in the wrong hands so be cautious!
The Malware-Bytes Clean-up Tool. Run this utility when you’re stuck with the trial of the paid version and can’t go back to free – or you simply can’t remove MBAM! After running this simply reboot then download/install the latest MBAM (and be sure to UNCHECK the Pro Version free trial box!)
Windows Update Show/Hide Utility. Run this utility when you need to stop a windows update (that’s messing up your PC) from installing. It will show all pending updates and let you “hide” them (like Windows 7 used to let us do) so they won’t install. It will also let you see all the hidden updates and “unhide” them if you need to.
